The Animal Resort

We can finally go out since the haze is gone...well kind of...hopefully it will not be back for good.

We had our lunch at Serangoon since Animal Resort was around Seletar area. E Hedpoj serves pretty decent Western foods. Do drop by if you happened to be around this area, the stall was opened by my friend's hubby. So we went to support him.

I came to know about Animal Resort when I saw a friend posted pictures of animals on Instagram. My first thought was "Is this in Singapore?" Apparently, this farm has been around since 2002. O.M.G. I'm super suaku! I guess sometimes you will only explore new places when you enter into a different phase in life. Like parenthood?

Parking is free of charge, just park right outside the main entrance. Note that you have to be well prepared with mosquito patch or repellent for the little ones. You may also purchase from the same counter selling animals' feed. Entrance to Animal Resort is free as well.

I suggest that you buy more carrots for the horse, and feeds for two legged animals. Don't bother buying rabbit feed as there were simply too much feeds for them. These fluffy balls could not even be bothered with you. Lol..

Trying to feed, but too scared to get near.
We tried calling out to the only horse, but it was just busily eating the grasses.

Spot the rabbit babies.. so cute!
Having fun swinging, felt like old Kampung days..
Right, the ducks finally came waddling by slowly enough for Ethan to feed them.

Papa teaching his little boy how to feed.
Feeding the peacock!
We saw this sign, and there was another fence separating the visitors from this Marabou Stork. Hubby said it is kind of fierce, so we do not provoke it. We then went to feed another bird which we supposed was the stork's baby just next to the enclosed area. The moment the stork saw us walking towards the baby, it moved. I was like "Eh siao liao, the stork like want to attack us sia.. let's leave." Immediately, the stork walked back, and stood at its original place. Phew!

Little quails..
The rabbit was saying "Stop feeding me!"

Fortunately, we managed to feed the horse before we leave. But be careful, it bites!
